Comprehensive care for those who are far away from Home

Although Expatriate insurance consists of the mandatory coverage required by the Ministry of Labor for foreigners working in Lebanon, Bankers’ expatriate policy is designed to also provide comprehensive protection for both the expatriate and the employer by giving an opportunity to upgrade the coverage.

Compulsory Expatriate insurance includes:

• Hospitalization cover in case of accident, medical and surgical treatments up to USD 23,000 per case, per year, in any hospital affiliated to Bankers’ Expatriate standard network
• Ambulatory cover: 1 test is covered per policy, excess 15%
• USD 8,000 coverage for expenses of repatriation in case of death
• USD 10,000 coverage for permanent, partial or total disablement due to an accident (payment as per the Lebanese workers’ scale of indemnity)
• Repatriation costs in case the expatriate is forced to leave the country following:
  • Death of the employer
  • Employer declared bankruptcy
  • Expatriate with a medical proven chronic disease
